Nigeria at the Frontline

IC facilitated a conversation with the UK Press and five key Nigerian officials at the Frontline Club, ahead of the 2015 general elections. The assignment involved mobilising and sensitising the media, and overall external communication about the event which focused on the election process, while touching on the Boko Haram insurgency, governance and the economy.

Cameroon Press Trip

IC was retained by the Government of Cameroon to organise a four-day press trip in 2015 for a small team of European journalIsts aimed at providing the international media with an overview of the economic and political developments taking place in the country. The tour provided access to key political decision makers and economic players both at a local and ministerial level to deepen understanding of the country's challenges, opportunities and issues. Field visits were also organised to key infrastructure projects and military operations in the north of the country.

São Tomé e Príncipe Investment and Development Conference

The Government retained IC to provide media relations services in support of ‘STeP In London’, the country’s inaugural international conference for private investors and development partners. Hosted by the Prime Minister, Patrice Émery Trovoada, the conference also saw the launch of the country’s Transformation Agenda. In addition to providing overall visibility for the meeting, IC also arranged a private luncheon and exclusive interviews for international journalists and visiting dignitaries, who included Nigeria’s former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
